How can I reset my API token?

If your API key is accidentally revealed in a public place, it can be reset via your profile:

1. Browse to your token in your CourtListener profile.

2. Click the button to "Reset API Token".

3. The next page will show you the usage of your token in the last five minutes.

   Warning

   Resetting your token will immediately break any automated systems that are still using it.

   Only reset your token if you are sure that you are ready to break existing systems.

4. Enter your password and submit the form.

Your token will be immediately reset and you will need to put the new token into any appliactions that may use it.
