Your Membership Portal
Note
If you have a CourtListener account, a corresponding membership portal in our CRM was automatically created. This login is completely separate from your CourtListener.com account. Your CourtListener username, password, and API token will not work on donate.free.law, and a donate.free.law account will not work on CourtListener. These are two independent systems. If you are having trouble logging into CourtListener.com, you can find help at I can't log in!.
What This Portal Is
donate.free.law is Free Law Project's individual donation and membership portal, hosted by our CRM provider, Neon CRM. Use this portal to make donations, manage a membership, update payment information, and view your giving history.
Logging In
- Go to https://donate.free.law/
- Enter your Username or Email and Password
- Check Remember me for 2 weeks if you're on a personal device and want to stay logged in
- Click Login
First time logging in, or don't remember your password? Click "Logging in for the first time? Or having trouble?" on the login page. This takes you to the password reset flow, where you can enter your email to receive reset instructions.
What You Can Do in the Portal
Once logged, you can:
- Make a donation - one time or recurring
- Manage your membership — view your current tier and status, upgrade or cancel your membership
- Manage recurring gifts — update, pause, or cancel a recurring donation or membership payment
- Update payment information — add or change a credit card or other payment method
- View your giving history — see past donations and payments
- Download receipts — get tax-deductible donation receipts for your records
- Update your contact information — name, mailing address, email, phone
Troubleshooting
- Can't log in? Double-check you're not entering your CourtListener credentials — they won't work here.
- Forgot your email or username? Try the email address you used when you first donated or joined.
- Didn't get a receipt or confirmation email? Check your spam folder, and confirm the email address on file is correct.
