What is X-Ray and what are "bad redactions"?
X-Ray is a high-performance tool we've created to identify "bad redactions" in PDF documents.
This problem mainly happens when people attempt to redact text by placing a black rectangle on top of it, like so:

To the naked eye, this appears to hide the text, but by selecting it with the cursor or pressing CTRL+A, you can read the text below. It's not redacted at all.

This is a major problem that we see in our system almost every day. We are currently monitoring this situation, but we have plans to address is more directly soon.
