Can I change my @recap.email email address?

Sometimes people need to change the @recap.email email address associated with their CourtListener account.

It is not possible to do this yourself, but it can be done by submitting a request via the CourtListener contact form.

Before you can change your @recap.email email address, it is important that you remove the old value from all locations within PACER.

In your request:

Be sure you are logged in. This will help us associate the request with your account.
Tell us the new value you'd like for your @recap.email address. If it is available, we will associate it with your account.

After your request is processed, you can reconfigure PACER websites with the new value.
